But typical Hyundai design... you see bits and pieces from different car designs all crammed into one.... even the logo they decided on is a bit of Mini Cooper, Bentley, Aston Martin:rolleyes:

but with that said... I'm still very impressed

    I meant $30k

    the V6 is around $30k... it's going to offer a V8 maybe around $35k loaded (368 HP!)

What a bunch of biters...front looks like an LS, side profile reminds me of a 5 series, a bit of Aston Martin, rear reminds me of the old infiniti I30 and the 5 series again...and the window profile with the trim is exactly like an M35/45...bah

man i just hate these biters...

I looks like a cross between a Benz (front) and a Bimmer (rear)

    A Benzimmer?

    Not bad.

I agree. Everything seems stolen on that car. They did a nice job doing it though. Should sell well.

yeah, but if you think about it... the whole car has a little bit of a bunch of other cars... It's typical Hyundai... and I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way.

Those headlights look totally RL. The interior screams M35/45. Hyundai is becoming more successful because they are making their cars look like a big orgy of successful brands. Oh well, whatever works.

I really like the stitched leather dash, the wood wheel & the center contol knob setup, looks like a whole lot more than a 30k car.

It's all in the marketing...I remember in the 80's when people were saying that they would never buy a lexus cause it was just a hyped up toyota, but look how far lexus has come (I think more so in lexus' case then acura or infiniti). Given lexus made very big strides in quality to achieve and/or get over the 'hyped up' moniker, but also at the price of cost.

In the case of huyndai I think their efforts and marketing is geared more towards cost benefit with a little dash of performance and a little hint of luxury. But if hyundai wants to achieve any kind of success they need to work on quality first and then they can choose where to go from there.
