I've contacted rich from UpRev on their Osiris tune program. The normal price of this software & tune service is $700 but since I have Cipher already, they're offering a $400 Osiris + 3 free tunes.. What do you guys think? Anybody have friends that are experienced with them? I already have emanage ultimate but this feels like a more comfortable way than getting the piggyback mounted and getting it tuned.. It also should have full control over injectors so I'm kinda leaning on this..
It's like a custom TS tune without the ECU mailing hassle..

I first heard about them from the Z/G guys who are in Austin. This is where I will go if I ever get a tune. Think like TS, but it's in Texas, not Cali.
 
can they raise tranny pressure? can they eliminate the throttle limit & throttle pullback? those are the 2 things I think that you can only get from ts as far as I know... other than that, fuel & timing maps & stuff should be equal I think...

I believe they can but they won't do it, at least not now.. I know that they've been playing with TCU. As for the throttle limit, I believe they can remove the limit. I didn't do a deep reading on this but so far there are some strengths on my side compared to emanage:

1) No mounting issues (after reading the UTEC mounting thread)
2) Ability to tune yourself (v2.0 is coming in a month)
3) Price is on par (emanage + harness goes around $400 as well)
4) No installation charges (my tuner quoted me $500 for installing + first tune)
5) I already have the cipher! :smile:
