i was just wondering what your guys opinion on DIY install of subwoofers? would this be to difficult for someone who doenst have much expereince with these kind of installations, how ever my friend who would be helping me is an electrician so tapping into the wires wouldnt be a problem, my concern is would be it be difficult to run the 0 gauge wires, and etc?

let me tell you this, electrician deal with high voltage (110-220-480 AC) and the low voltage guys do things a little different. Make sure he doesnt use wire nuts on your wires

running 0 gauge wires should be no problem if you ran it along the floor/base board, I would recommend having a stereo shop do the install for you if you want it clean. (based on your comment).
