Navteq 7.4 for a 2006

Has anyone had problems with the 7.4 version in a 2006? Mine says error....

None of my updates have had any issues, but I dont have the 2nd gen Nav. I would call them and see whats up and see if they can send you a replacement dvd.

My 7.4 disc works, but when entering addresses, it is really slow to go to the next character.

No, just wanted to know if there was a solution to the slow searching on a 2006 FX Navigation.

Navigation always seemed pretty slow to me.
