I haven't done anything to the exterior. Everything is under the hood. Unfortunately, you can't see the twin turbos.

Something is different about this FX (look under the license plate):

Under the hood, the twins are in there somewhere:

The view a sports car usually sees :

The exhaust is about to be replaced so the tips will be shiny and new again.

I did not add any gauges. My mods kind of exceeded my wife's budget expectations so I had to draw the line somewhere. Oops.

The motor is not built assuming I understand the question. The turbos were bolt on. The tranny was re-worked to accomodate the additional torque which is around 420. All of the additional cooling has made my car run cooler than when it was stock. I even get 1 mpg better gas mileage than before and I have a habit of jack rabbit starts.

Next up is a spacer and new exhaust. After that I'll probably look into gauges.

I surprised an M5 the other day. The on ramp to the freeway is right in front of my office. There was a gap in traffic but an M5 pulled out from a street a few yards up the road and took my gap. So I did the only reasonable thing and punched it. He never did close the gap.

you mean it's a sleeper...not stealth, right? stealth means its hard to see it (which may be the case since its so fast), while a sleeper is when it looks completely nromail and stock and the the changes are under the hood and in places oyu cant see. nonetheless, great job!!!! how much did hte turbos run for you? lol

It's a stealth sleeper!

The turbos were around $6k. That's the part I told to my wife. The install, coolers, etc. might have doubled that. She was a bit surprised to see that receipt. :embarrassed:

She thinks I am just taking it in for a tune next week. I guess she'll figure out soon enough that more work was done. Better to ask forgiveness...

They just re-built the tranny. There is a new valve body and a torque converter. I am unfortunately not as car savvy as I would like to be.

Regarding getting the turbo: Just do it! Deal with the consequences later. I hope this public service announcement helps you Keemo. I'm just looking out for your best interests

Yes, just do it....but only if you have the money.. no debt is worth modding a car. After the car is gone and old you don't want to still be paying for it.... If you can pay it off quickly...then do it......

Aaaah the voice of reason.

I was kidding around. You are absolutely right about debt. For proof take a quick look at the stock market. But that's a topic for a different forum.
