Mag Decision

A Buddy of mine has Asanti rims on his FX45, and offered to sell me his 20" stocks that he got with the car. They have never been used at all, since he put the asantis on when he took delivery 2 years ago. I was thinking of painting them black and going with that. He offered to sell them to me for 70$/wheel. The only problem is I have a 2009 FX and I am worried the rims will clash. I need an opinion, what do you think I should do?

You have 18's? If so, try it out...might look nice. What year 20's are they coming from?

2003-2008 stock rims WON'T work with your 2009. It won't clear the calipers without spacers. I say keep the 18s, get aftermarket 20s.

I have 18's. In Canada there are no options for rims, only 18's on the 35 or 21's on the 50. I am looking around to buy the 21" MAGS, But so far I have only found them from the dealer for like 5000

Try magsandtires.com they are in Ste-Catherine. I got the set of 22' for my murano.

eg3, he's a 35, his brakes are the same as our originals, no fitment issues, only the 50 has the bigger brakes...

earlier wheels will fit & work fine, they will sit the same as if you put 10mm spacers on your 09 wheels... there's 10mm less backspacing on the older wheels

those zenetti's look cool...

I just can't find a Zenetti dealer in Montreal, and it becomes waayyyyyyyy to expensive to ship from the states considering shipping is 280$ US and then Duty is gonna be 200$ US.

hmm.. Somehow I thought the 35 had the same brakes as well..

cheechitup88, how about exchanging your 18s with my 20s?

You want to switch your 20's on Scorpions-for my 18's on All-Seasons?

I have the FX50 brakes which doesn't fit my 20s without spacers. So basically, yeah, I'm willing to trade in 20s with snow tires to 2009 18s (that'll fit, right John? I remember something like that) with All seasons..

Local guys will always try to rip you off, but getting them shipp from US is very expensive.

I got set of giovanna couomo
coumo.jpg
with tires from http://www.kctrends.com + $300 for shipping + 580 Duty + $150 Fedex brokerage charges. :eeerr:

eg3, can't say that the 18's will fit really, the 50's don't ever offer 18's so it's not a given that they will...

your best bet is to look for g37S 18's, those are def gonna fit...

I found this place in Vancouver. Their prices and service were good. No duties or provincial tax to pay and they only charged $100.00 CAD to ship 4 tires mounted on wheels to Toronto
Google Kx wheels
Sorry no link, I don't have enough posts
