Nope, no black, but I do like the old black finish. If you're in the market for a laptop, this is the one to get. The Pro only comes in silver. The MacBook in black, but only in a 13", & this thing will run circles around that, and almost any other laptop out there . . & it boots windows too at native speed. It's like Two in one. Dual Core Dou Rocks!
It also has an LED screen that is purely amazing. The attention to detail is bar-none.

Bert, it boots up in windows, or in parallel to OSX. So it will run ALL windows software. Essentially, it is a PC. There's really no to buy a PC any longer, cuz this one is both.

OSX (Boot Camp) supports most all 32-bit releases of Windows XP and Windows Vista. When you use either operating system on your Mac, Windows applications will run at native speed. Windows applications also have full access to multiple processors and multiple cores, accelerated 3D graphics, and high-speed connections like USB, FireWire, Wi-Fi, and Gigabit Ethernet.

It's a 15.4, got it for portability. I worked on it at home last nite, connected to a Wacom tablet. It worked out great. Still doesnt compare to my 30" at the office, but the resolution is so good (1440 by 900 (native), that I was able to be productive.

That's cool Dave! Did it come with Leopard installed? I'm looking to go from pc to a 24" iMac very soon.

Humberto, transferring your stuff from a pc to a Mac is easily done at a Mac store. Free when you buy a new Mac at the store. http://www.apple.com/getamac/movetomac/

It came preloaded with tiger, but I got leopard today by mail for a 10 dollar upgrade. Now I have both OSs. The 24 imac is very sweet indeed, especially the 'extreme' model.
