Just found this article. Is it the same tech that Nissan's using?
I noticed this line:

"the polymer can only repair itself in the same spot once, and would not work after repeated scratches. "Obviously, this is one of the drawbacks," he said, adding that the chances are low of having two scratches in exactly the same spot."

I would think it's pretty easy to get two scratches in the same spot. Especially if you pull in and out of the same spot every day.
