Whats up fellas. i just occurred to me that i haven't actually documented all mods i've done since i got the car. I have a bunch of random pics spread throughout random threads across the entire site, so i thought it was time to document things logically. I got my base model 04 FX35 in September of 2007. I started with an HID fog kit, an alpine head unit in the clock location, a MOMO shift knob, stillen strut bar, a couple 8" kicker L5's, sport tails and i picked up some chrome 20's. Here are a couple pics.

After that stuff i also installed my reflector and brake light overlays, a Blox spacer, a Z-tube, +2 timing advance, kakumei y-pipe, and 350Z nismo edition muffler.

After that fun stuff i removed my FX35 badges, sanded the Infiniti lettering of my hatch trim and painted both trim pieces black, as well as painting my grill black.

I have also fairly recently installed H&R springs, GT Spec rear braces, lower engine tie and ladder braces. Dont really have any pics with the springs on as the weather has been pretty crappy since these parts went in.

I also have a couple more Mods in the works right now. As most know i have my OZ Ultraleggera HLT's on the way this week hopefully. I also smoked my red tails to see how they look on there, and i have blacked out heads with angel eyes and modded DTRLs to finish assembling and install. Here are a couple teaser pics for now until these last few mods start to come together on the car.

I tinted these on my own with a couple super light coats of black duplicolor acrylic lacquer, followed by a bunch of clear, then some wet sanding and polish. you can see the sever orange peel on the left, and the polished ones on the right. wanted to post this so turbo could give me a grade on my work, and possibly hire me if i get layed off. :tup:

Threw the lights in this morning before work. They are far to dark. The main reason i made them so dark was to hide all the when they are off. i think instead of this route i am going to lightly tint the sport tails with some nightshades. i really like this look though. the running lights just aren't bright enough to feel confident i'm not going to get pulled over.

where did you get those angel eyes from coz i've seen a lot from ebay but i dont know if they are good quality.
 
Looks great! Tell me your process for wet sanding and polishing once you have applied the clear. Mine still have some orange peel...

He hasnt really been on in a while...you're better off PMing turbocad for a tip like that
 
I wet sanded with 800, then with 1000, and then finally i used 1500 grit. Then I just used a polishing compound to bring the gloss back. It actually was a bit easier than I thought it was going to be.
