Why bring an mazda RX instead of the FX to an FX track day meet? Bring the FX!

I agree - bring the FX.

I think Ken is hooked on track day also.......:top:
Ken and Carlos should let everyone that hasnt come out to track day how it is- lets get some more guys hooked!

I really want to go but had these plans already.

It's a good experience guys. If you have not been, you most definatly need to check it out. I was not expecting it to be like it was. Had too much of a good time and the rush and adrenaline that you get on the track is really good.

I give it two thumbs up.

So if you have not gone, YOU NEED TO!!!

Thiefcode, no Mazda. Take your FX and have a good time!!! ]

I'll see you guys at the July event.
 
Guess it's not "open" after all :wink: I'll bring the FX if I can just enjoy watching you all race... I'm not tracking my daily driver. Is there a separate fee for non-racers?
 
Not tracking your daily driver?! What do you think our FX's are for, track only? All our FX's are daily drivers. It just good fun to see the results of what all our mods can do on the track and see real world performance. Not to mention a little trash talk and good old fashioned rib jabbing. You can be a spectator if you like, the admission price for lurkers is $10.00

Hahaha come on - everyones FX is their Daily Driver. Even Rookies.
Its $10 to spectate & $20 to race.
 
Lol, you guys drive a hard bargain! Ya'll crack me up... :rofl:

However, I want to keep it as reliable and as daily drivable as possible, including the brakes, tires, etc. I honestly don't care how it performs, all of my mods have been solely for aesthetic purposes. On the other hand, I've got a 2800 pound twin-turbo missle for kicks... It weighs 1400lbs less than the FX and has almost 100 more horsepower, you do the math :nerd:

Just give your FX a try. You sound like I did before. Don't worry about your breaks, you have plenty of strip to slow down after.

After you do it the first time, your going to want to keep going. Trust me.

My FX is my daily driver also.

Just check it out at least once, then if you truly don't like it then you don't have to do it again. It's all for fun. All I have is an intake.

I highly recommend it.
 
Hate to do this... but some life issues have came up and it looks like we will be moving back to San Diego during this time, so I am going to have to back out of June.

I will definitely make July since I will be back in San Diego at that time,

Yea, life stuff just puts a damper on your plans....hate when that happens. Hope everything works out for you and the family bud. We will see you soon.
 
Deepending on how my baby feels and I get enough time and money to get my baby fixed, I will only be there as a spectator.....

I just had the entire whole front differential, both front axels and one engine mount replaced so far.

Still need to get the tension Pulley, belts and 2 engine mounts replaced before I can take her to the track and then begin with the FI..:embarrassed:
