man f*cken tustin infiniti will not cover my warped rotors under warrenty
and is charging me 198 bucks a rotor to resurface em....

isnt the rotors covered?
cause they will covor like the window molding and the weather strip and everythign
but not the effin rotors im so pissed

any suggestions any help ?

I think since it is a wear item they will not cover it, unless the car is a brand new buy with low miles.

$198 can almost get you a set of rotorpros......

Dude - $198 x 4 = $792

or drive 45 mins to Monrovia and see if Metro can take care of you.

Do the math.

brakes are never covered under warranty.

I also would not get them resurfaced. If you are paying that much. you might as well get aftermarket rotors like some members here.

Well the cost.... its a luxury car, you will have to pay more for parts and service. I know you have a new baby and all, so try to drive less?! so things dont break:smile:.

oh, not to sound like a smart ass, but they wont cover oil, fluids, tires, gas, air filter, oil filter, etc you get the point.

good luck with the brakes, maybe with some free time you can do them yourself (or have friends help). these are hard times and we need to be more self reliant.

So hypothetically if Dopie did want to invest in a new BBK what are his options for the FX? At the moment I have JBT, Rotora, AP and StopTech on the list, are there any others?

Get some Endless!!!! I'd give my first born for a set of those BBKs....... They make a BBK kit for the Murano and I'm sure we can make it fit on the FX

well i got some money left over for the car

about a $1000

so anyone got hook ups?

APracing BBKs good?

what kind of Rotoros

Brembo???

man im confused

I'd go for some Brembo blanks. (Unless you track your car)
I've heard of some people using some pads (I forgot the exact name but they are green or something) For minimal brake dust.

Pep Boys resurfaces rotors for $6 each if you take them off the FX yourself.

^ agree

a local shop at most will charge you $10 a piece. Probably $100 if they have to take off the rotors and put them back on. Call around, but if you want the best Infiniti help, call up Cheryl.

+1 same question here.

What do you guys recommend for a BBK for a FX35? I'm looking for the best stopping power and modulation. The only positive feedback I've seen so far (specific to a FX) is for JBT right now.

Dopie: Does Brembo make a BBK for our cars?

same here
have not seen or heard from anyone that has have em on there fx

and tryin to get a really good price for em also
