4300k or 6000k foglights?

ok i know the headlights are 4300k and i would like to match the fogs up with the headlights. 4300k is the brightest and has the most output of light right guys? i read that the higher the number the less output u get? any confirmation on this. i see alot of u guys have 6000k on the headlights and fogs, did u lose and light or gain any?

I think 6000K is a good medium.

All i know is that my new 6K bulbs are amazing. I paid $30shipped from ebay about 6months ago and they are still running awesome. The 6K lights up the signs and road reflectors farther. Yes they are much lower in output, but I am the kind of guy who hates to bright lights so close to the car.(it takes my attention to the close view.)

I have the 6K heads and wanting to do a 4.3K in the fog lights. I will post a review up when I get the money.
 
i have 8000k for both. you probably lose some light from the headlamps, but, adding HID fogs more than makes up for it. i don't think that i'm sacrificing any light output at all.

i would think that once you get up into the 10000-12000k level, you may notice some loss, but, it's probably not even noticable unless you are driving on country roads with no street lights or anything.

6000k very good balance of white and a hint of blue

8000k blueish to hint of purple...I really wouldn't use unless you have hid fogs. I figure 8000k hl with 8000k fogs = about stock light output from the stock 4300k and stock fogs. With 8K headlights alone, light on road can be dim.

6000k in both hl and fogs, I feel is brighter and cleaner on the road.

+1 I really like my 6ks , the fogs lights really come alive with the HIDs

When I went from stock to 8000K (with stock fogs) it was a huge loss in light. I kept wondering if my headlights were even on. I now have 8000K HID fogs and it definately helps.
