Has anyone tried to do a large rear rim and a smaller front on the fx?

Maybe even a 22 front and a 24 rear? that would look like a monster! (assuming the correct offset)

If you're RWD, it shouldn't be a problem but if you're AWD, your FX will sense slip with different diameter wheels & tires.

I like the look of bigger in the rear, but certain body styles can pull that off well & others not so much. it's the hot rod raked look, fat & skinnies type look, great on muscle cars ... the only way I can see an fx pulling that off is if it's seriously low in the front, gotta have that hot rod stance to pull that off, I wouldn't think an fx is well suited to this, but, I guess it's all in how you setup everything else... in the end it's "the look" or "the stance" that will make it either look sick or just look wacked.. the wheels chossen will also play a big part in weather it works or not visually too...

Not really, he's talking rim size. Tire sizes would still be the same appropriate sizes that would make the overall height of the tires the same... atleast that's how I'm understanding it.

Many exotics have 20's rear, 19's front... 19's rear, 18's front... etc.

yeah, but no one would put a smaller rim in the front & then match the rubber to the same diameter of the rear, more rubber up front? that would just look stupid I think...

the whole idea is the front diameter will overall still be smaller than the rear, actually this look works best if theres either the same sidewall height front & rear or even a bit more sidewall in the rear too..

yeah.. think like you use 18" stockers on the front and 20" on the back.. plus, I said it'll sense slip if it's different size wheel AND tires..

I don't think that's a ps, I think she rolled a 20 in line at the back, in front of the 18 that's on the car & took the shot... could be wrong but that's what it looks like to me, coulda popped a center cap on for full effect though

I dont think that's PS either, you can see the Infiniti emblem of her 18's thru the middle hole of the 20. .. LOL Ash, nice touch with the spider tho.

the molding...i think the blur brush hit it when i blurred out my street address... nothing gets passed you guys... and yes, i just rolled a 20 in fron of the 18... you can see a glove holding it in place.
