Since you're in Cali, you'll most likely set the height and leave it alone. For me in Chicago, I'll lower in summer and raise in Winter, so need to change alignment each time.
How is the service for the Firestone lifetime alignments? I've heard that they make you wait longer while giving better service to "paying" customers. Thoughts and opinions? I've considered signing up.

I can't tell if the anodized pieces come off easily, but if so, anodizing is pretty cheap and easy. Just an idea to open up color options ...

I removed any pricing details, as this was a one-time deal, so good for you if you got in on time.

PM me for any details on future pricing.

Just left my baby (aka, the FX) to have the coilovers installed. Not quite sure why I'm so nervous. Left my point-and-shoot there too so he can get some pics.

Understandably nervous, coil overs have been known to detonate during install and take our entire quarterpanels =) CO installs are cake, you are going to love the ride.

Haha I laughed when I read this. I guess since I've never had coilovers before, I just don't understand them as well as some of you. I'm sure it'll be fine.

Joe, when do you plan on installing yours? DIY as well? I'm getting my fenders rolled on Monday, then hopefully within a few weeks, I'll be riding low again....

I know I'm a photo whore, but I did take some nice shots today to show off the stance of the new Kido coilovers:

Just started install today, half done, not too bad, just a little difficult to turn the 2003 bolts Might be good to start talking about the Camber adjustment and how soft or hard everyone is dialing them in. Gonna see HA this week and roll as well...

Nice Joe, throw on the 22" Modas while you are at it! And get a strut tower bar already!

I like this idea, currently I'm all the way soft at stock height. I'm gonna adjust them this weekend.

Thanks, this install is not for beginers, you really need the know-how and tools, but if you are ambishus and determined, you very well can DIY. I'm gonna post some more pics tomorrow when I tackle the rears. Maybe it will help someone out. The Modas are sold putting on some Brand new-old school full face Axis mulluners when I have some coin for tires. I really do want the strut tower brace, on the to-do list, but If the future wifey keeps seeing more boxes pile up in the garage I won't hear the end of it...

Maybe I am being a little too OCD here, but can those four silver bolts be moved or adjusted? Like the two on the left, can they be moved to the outside so it looks even? They were centered on my old BC coils.

Yes, they are the camber plate adjustments. You Move them to get extra adjustment.

Here are some pics of the rears installed and Assembly pictures.

    Old shock assembly

    New Kido assembly

I choose to use the larger OEM Nut cause it looked tougher, this was my own personal choice, tighten till it stops.

When re-installing the new Kidos remember to use the old gaskets from the OEM assemblys.

Now just roll your fenders and your done

Hope some of this helps those willing to try this themselves. Thanks again to ED for putting together this group buy and giving us a great product!
