Haven't gotten around to taking photos with the headlights on yet. Will try to do soon.

Went to my cabin this past weekend and got a LOT of snow. These pics are are from the beginning of the snow storm. Don't have any later photos :'(

Bad news :( I was in a 4-car crash last night. Everybody was stopped, and this woman in her Cayenne (who admitted that she was looking down to make a phone call) crashed into me full-speed, which in turn shoved me into the car in front of me, and her into the car in front of her. I saw it coming, so I braced myself, but the lady in front of me didn't see it coming, and went to the hospital thinking she broke her neck and some ribs. My head smacked the headrest so hard that the lenses popped out of my glasses, and my whole body is sore. Had a cat scan last night and everything looks good. Going to my back doctor next week, and to my auto body guy today.

Everybody was breathing and coherent, which was good. But my beautiful FX is gonna need a lot of work. My exhaust pipes are bent, my rear bumper kinda crunched, my trunk appears to have broken in half on the right side, and my front bumper is folded under on the right side. I do have to say that for how hard the impact actually was, the FX made me very proud.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about your accident. Good that you and others are ok. Sucks about your fx. Im sure it will come out the body shop looking nice again. Here's your chance to get your lower trims painted. ;)

Wow that sucks, sorry to hear about your fx. At least everyone came out ok, a car can be replaced but a life can't be replaced.

i had the exact same accident last winter. Someone plowed me from behind while i was at a complete stop, so i hit the guy in front of me. My body shop guy did a great job fixing the car, but he was never able to bend the exhaust to look perfect. So your car will look great but your exhaust may be a bit unperfect. This imperfection's got me considering an exhaust upgrade in the new year. everytime i see it, it annoys me. I hope you weren't injured, and glad to see your FX protected you as it did me. some times you don't feel injuries right away with accidents like that. in a few days you might start feeling discomfort in places that feel fine now. I just hope your okay. your fx certainly will.

Sucks for you hopefully they can save the FX and if they do have your insurance cover the exhaust on behalf of the female drivers insurance.

Thanks for all the replys guys. I will definitely have the exhaust replaced on behalf of her insurance if the situation allows, and am hoping that my frame isn't bent... Was gonna go to my Auto Body guy today, but am in a lot of pain, so just stayed home and slept instead. As for the lower trim all around the car, I will be having it all painted Ivory Pearl so that both new bumpers and trunk, as well as the trim, are all done with the same batch of paint.

Sorry to hear about your accident, glad to hear there were no serious injuries. It's likely that your body hurts from your muscles tightening up on impact. Instead of bracing yourself, it's best to stay loose...why the drunk drivers usually walk away unscathed from major accidents.. Get some muscle relaxers and you'll feel a lot better..

Here are some photos I took this morning before I left it at the body shop. The guy said that the frame doesn't appear to be bent, but can't be sure until he gets it up and looks underneath. The muffler is broken, exhaust pipes are bent, and he's going to be getting new bumpers and trunk lid. I'm actually having some more things done to it while it's in the shop, super excited, but still devastated to see my car in this condition:

If all the exhaust piping is ruined, make sure to check the exhaust manifold for cracks as well.

Think about your upgrade opportunities carefully, now is the time to make a list with regards to front bumper painting/color matching etc. Still pains me to see the pictures.......

I planned it through very carefully with my auto body guy this morning. All parts that were going to be painted Ivory Pearl in the future are now going to be painted with the same batch of paint along with the repairs, because I want it all to be the same. Multiple batches of the "same paint" stress me out. Everything that will be done Ivory Pearl is the new trunk, new front bumper, new back bumper, all lower black trim, all door handles, and shaving the word "INFINITI" off of rear chrome pieces and having them done IP as well. Going to go back at a later date and have some black paint work done as well, but this time around I only want the IP done so I can photoshop some ideas onto it.
