Electronics dtrl mod ??



is there any particuliar order or location these wires have to go? the instructions are vague at best.
ex. close the loop close loop??
ex. connect to acc port. anywhere

Can you be a little more specific of what type of DTRL mod you are trying to do and who provided you with the module to tap into the DTRL?

Like Berto said, which mod are you trying to do, and what unit are you usiing?

i thought it wa just called the dtrl mod, i wanted them to be on all the time.

got some really white leds and i want them to stay on.

i got sent to the org for the write up on how to do it, sorry for the confusion. i just finished it though-on with the key now

glad you figured it out. I went through the same thing, just have to look at the pic very carefully.

merch-what did you do with the exposed relay/ did you wrap it or just lay in down in there?

I wrapped it up with electrical tape and tucked it back inside the battery compartment. looking at this pic of my engine (which it water resistant ), you cant even see it.

Completed this mod back in the day and have since returned to OEM config.



I drilled a small hole in the covers to pass through the wire. This is the battery compartment with everything buttoned up.

Just completed this in about 20 minutes. Very easy, even for my crappy mechanic talent. lol.
