NewB Newbie Question Navigation

First off excuse me if I come off as a little green here. I just purchased an 08FX35 2 days ago and have some questions for you pros out there. It has no manuel so I've been learning on my own. It doesnt have navigation but I would like to upgrade the system to include it along with blue tooth. I would also like to add an ipod adaptor since I dont use cds any longer. I am on a budget here so cheap but efficent fixes are what I'm looking for. Any help or suggestions are much appreciated!

Damn, I was totally going to answer but then you said your question is for "pros". Maybe next time...

Seriously though, there is a search bar @ the upper right corner of the Home screen. Type in some key words like "ipod" or "bluetooth". There are many threads about both of those things.

Welcome and good luck.

EDIT: The Doc's reply is what you get for typing "navi" into the search bar.

only cheap way is to use an aftermarket navi system. You also won't be able to add bluetooth to the car cheaply, unless you get a navi system that incorporates it.

As for the ipod thing, you'll either have to spend $100 for a adapter cable or shell out $10 for one of those cassette adapter things.

I utilize the cheapy cassette adapter deals, and my iphone/ipod fits nicely in the flip out ashtray drawer!! at an angle but it does fit in there upright...

since 08s have a color screen, you could use a NAV-TV device and add a GPS with a video output. But its not the cheapest way to go, get a Garmin Nuvi and stick it on the window and be done.
As for the ipod ... a quick 'title search' came up with these

and yes , please search

Thanks for the feedback. I picked up the PA 15 Ipod adapter. I have a portable navi system that it looks like Ill continue to use since its a spendy upgrade to get it to appear on my stock screen. I rarely use it anyways, just thought it would be nice to have.
