Dam, just got home after some grub with the family on the way home! Had to buy the wife a nice dinner after all she went thru this weekend.

It was a blast today and great to see all the usual suspects and nice to finally meet you Mike! Sorry we didn't get to talk to much but it was a hectic day. Hopefully you can make it out to the next event (Drags in Jan.) and we can chat a bit more. I have to say that it was alot of fun hanging out the R-Rides gang and thanx for letting us pretenders hang out out with you guys a bit and see what the show scene is all about.
I got to be honest I do not know how you guys do this 2-3 times a month! I think once a year would do me plenty.

I have a ton of pictures and videos so I will try and get them up asap. But I also need to get some rest...I'm beat! Changing wheels out twice is no fun on the back.

As for the biggest trophy.... Dave! Congrats.

Some of my Pics..

I found myself not really being able to take allot of pictures of our FX's

Just too busy helping out..

I hope Pierce and Will can share latter in the day..

Here are some pictures tha I took of us before the show and the pictures that I had to take for my Daughters sake..

She was happy that I placed first and put the trophy in her room.

Thanks to Viet and R-Rides for making room for us and letting us hand. It was good that all of us FX's got a little candy at the end. Being novices and all it was fun.

Also, last but not least Team Transport for making this even happen.

Here are my pics..

Meeting up at Jack in the Crack at 6:30am

Cool nice pictures Bert! Can you email me the picture of my son and me.

That white GTR was awesome! and you got alot of shots of some nice rides from the track event. Like you I didn't get to take as many pictures as I would have liked due to the tight schedule and the autoX. Btw, that was the highlight of the event for me...what a blast!!!

Anyways, I will get pics and videos up sometime tonight after work.

Good that you finally got the STB. It was fun having you in the FX as a co-pilot while on the autoX track. Only wish Will stayed and had a chance to as well. After looking at the videos it is a totally different perception from you think the car is doing on the track and what you see and feel from the inside and what it actually looks like from the outside. The pictures came out pretty good Bert. I will get those up soon.

You can probably ask Ted for that info Dave. I know Will took his own picture.

brown, Dave won the 'editor's choice' for inifiniti class I believe. It was actually a pity catagory ...j/k Dave.

Awards for FX's were: (and everyone has to remember rookie did not compete or he would have swept the trophies)

Editor's Choice Infiniti Class: GTO-Dave
Best SUV: Dr.2K
Best of Show FX: Dr.2K
1st Place FX: HumbertoCali
2nd Place FX: Psiclne

Correct me if I'm wrong here guys.

Ha Ha That's good.
I asked DaveO what my category was, & basically it was for best subtly-modded all of class Infiniti model vehicle, judged by 6 of the staff, versus all the attendees. Basically, take a stock daily driver, do a bunch of tasteful mods without spending a ton of cash to do it, & show a super clean ride. It was the tallest standing trophy, so I guess that's worth something. It really is exactly what I've been going for on my mods.
I was also told that Humberto wouldve given me a run for the money in the judging, but his spectacular custom paint job took him out of the category.

Yup, we know Dave. But when you do FINALLY get some wheels you will have to give up that crown .

Oh and now you know what separates the FX35 from the 45 on the autoX....AWD baby!!!

Hey guys,

Nissan Sport provides Editor's Choice Trophies for many events we sponsor. This year we sponsored three trophies for the Toys 4 Tots Charity Car Show; one for best Datsun, one for best Nissan and one for best Infiniti. The guidelines are typically our subjective opinion of the cleanest tastefully modified Nissan, Datsun and Infiniti with mods that don't break the bank. This year we included extra credit if the car was run in one of the Speed Ventures Events. There were six folks who helped in the selection of the Nissan Sport Editor's Choice Trophy Winners--thanks to all of them. The selection was as difficult as ever and the winners were as surprised as we've come to except (most say they were there to support the event/team/friends and didn't think they had a chance).
