Media Jbaker1121's Photo Thread

This will be my thread where I will post random new pictures/videos of my FX for now on.

here's some from today
I got my ECU back from Technosquare (reflash/tune) last week so I finally got a video of the FX in action. It sounds different (better) and it's just a beast.

Pics from when I detailed it last:

(yes my exhaust tips are very low.....)

pics from today:

I also took a few of my friend's 2010 Mustang here's a few pics

and here's what my dorm room looks like (well, my side for that matter)

^unfortunately you can't see my awesome inflatable moose head above my tv....

My parents brought up my good camera this passed weekend so I decided to take some random pictures.....

---------- Post added at 06:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:09 PM ----------

the video will be up shortly Im using my friend's Canon DVD camcorder and its giving me a hard time getting the video off of the camera and onto my computer...

---------- Post added at 06:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:17 PM ----------

Pictures of my GTspec braces installed:

not in this picture: front lateral brace

the Eibachs ride lower and stiffer than the H&R. I have them and recommended them.

I have the Eibachs too. I have always heard they are stiffer than H&R, but I have never felt a comparison. I was always surprised that people said the Eibachs are stiffer than OEM - they feel softer to me. The ride is better than OEM, for sure.

maybe your FX's suspension was just shot before you got the springs haha....John (turbocad) drove my fx and he is used to h&rs and he noticed the difference

Springs can be a diy if you have the proper tools (spring compressor).

If you are worried about the feel of the car being too stiff, don't be. The Eibachs feel like they belong there.

I wouldn't DIY this unless you have some experienced help with you. It took a good shop with the right tools about four hours to do it for me. The down side - the install will be close to twice what you paid for the springs.

yes, deff get the springs done.

besides the threadhack, I am currently editing some video I got of my FX earlier tonight....it was interesting that the Technosquare reflash/tune actually made it sound a bit different...more exotic. it's hard to explain. it just sounds smoother...and when you get up to mid 7k rpm this thing really screams!.....video will up up shortly. I going to stop at autozone to see if i can find a gtech or one of those things that roughly measures a 0-60, 1/4mile time etc.....just to get a rough estimate. I know I am not going to be beating any records but its good to know.

and without further adieu,

here is a video taken tonight of my FX.

The Technosquare tune actually made the Fx sound a little different. It sounds smoother and more exotic. Plus, if I WOT up to a certain speed and let off, it pops a little bit...sign of power? I'm not sure: but it sure does sound awesome.
As for performance rather than the sound, the FX feels even more beastly than before. it pulls like crazy right up into 5th gear, and when you shift, even at 7500rpm, there is power there waiting to punch. the FX is much more tourque-y and overall feels much more powerful.
The part of the video that was in-car is NOT at WOT so it cannot determine how "fast" my FX is. like I said before, I will try to go out and buy a gtech or whatever to try and measure my 0-60, 1/4mile, etc.

and yes, one of my fog lights was out for half of the filming haha.....don't make fun.

enjoy the video!
