I don't think there are a lot of members right now with the PS3, I know Cube has one, I have one... though I haven't bought any games for it for the longest time, it's a GREAT Blu Ray player though... I think eventually the PS3 will catch up to the XBox 360. So, I figure we have a thread where we can talk about it, up and coming games, updates etc. etc...

the long awaited game Metal Gear Solid 4 is finally coming out on June 12th!!! Here's a video clip for it (10 minutes long!!), I hope they do SoCom.

I have one...just finished watching Alvin and the Chipmunks...:2smile: The only games we have are MotorStorm, Burnout Paradise, and GT5 Prologue.

I'm about to get started with GTA4, borrowed it from a friend this morning.

I finished up Devil May Cry 4 in the first two difficulties, now trying the hardest one:

I also have GT5 Prologue but I'm really disappointed with it. You can't modify or do anything to the cars..

Wrong,you can tune up your car in gt5 prologue,only after finishing the events.It's an excellent race sim,especially online.

I got a PS3. It's a discontinued 60 gig version. I only have a few games: Call of Duty 4, MLB The Show 08 (incredible graphics), Madden 08, NBA 08, and Assasin's Creed. I'm waiting for the full Grand Turismo and Metal Gear.

As for blueray, I generally buy movies with lots of CG and contrasting colors. Ultraviolet was one on the worse movies ever made but on blueray it's kick ass. I'm waiting for speedracer to come on blueray. My Sony Bravia KDL46XBR3 is my pride and joy for all this.

we have a new ps3 in the house... as soon as the roomate beats gta4, itll come out of his room and we will be using it to watch blueray and kick ass with rockband...

okay, I suck at writing reviews so here it goes for Metal Gear Solid 4...

GO BUY IT!!!












no, but seriously... it's a great game... I was hesitant to buy it because from watching the trailers, it looked kinda slow in comparison to COD4... which I LOVE. And for most part, it is... It kinda reminds me of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell... which I didn't care for. So I didn't buy it... I was lucky to find a copy for rent at the local Blockbuster... and ya know what? I'll end up buying this game at some point... I'm a bit tight on money right now, but I will definitely own a copy eventually. I haven't tried multiplayer yet... from what I hear, it's NOT the game's strong point. Which is a bummer because I'm pretty much all about live gaming.

As for the single player goes, so far... the graphics is a 10 out of 10!!! Ya know how sometimes games will have awesome movie trailers (to explain the story)?, then when the actual gameplay starts... it's nothing like the trailer(?), well, not this game... the gameplay is pretty much as good as the trailers!!! Which comes to another aspect of the game that may or may not be to your liking... there are a LOT of trailers and they're long... probably as long as the actual game play, and I'm not exaggerating. I, personally, like it... Like most games there's a story behind it, but most games, you really don't care and just want to get going and play... but I find myself really hooked on this story, it's like a movie... it really is. In the beginning of the game... while playing the first level (kinda like a training stage), there's credits running like the beginning of some movies... anyway, I'm not far into the game... but am really enjoying it... give it a try, maybe if you're not sure if you wanna blow $60... try and find a copy for rent first like I did...

by the way... I believe IGN gave this game a 10 out of 10, which rarely happens

This game is the only reason I would buy the PS3...(the entire series kick ass)


Also hope they have another Jak and Daxter series for the PS3

As of now the only game I am playing on our WII.. Little games kicks some but..

I now a kid at heart.. Making up for the times my dad did not have cash to buy me a super nintendo or a sega genesis..

LMAO, I think I still have my Sega and Sega Genesis. Too funny. Altered Beast was my favorite and Sonic.
